Catherine Geel is a design historian, researcher at the CRD ENS Paris-Saclay, curator and publisher. She teaches at Ecole normale supérieure Paris-Saclay and at ENSA Nancy and co-founded the Dirty Art Department (Sandberg Instituut, Amsterdam). Furthermore, she is not only leading multidisciplinary design projects for T & P Work Unit but is also part of the reflexion and the interior project of one of the most important workplaces in creative industries, where she directed a seminar on design workplace and creative labor. Currently, she is working as curator of the French Pavilion at the XXIIe Triennale in Milan and is directing two volumes "Extended French Theory & the Design Field… On Nature and Ecology. A Reader et Design. De la Nature à l’environnement. Nouvelles définitions (T&P Publishing)". She is the author of various books and a member of several scientific committees. "Les grands textes du design commentés (IFM/Le Regard) et Design et Display : une autre histoire des expositions (2.vol., T&P Publishing)" will be published in 2019.
